Now you will see 7 shocking proofs that Pushkin is Dumas. And it's not a joke.

Let's start from the beginning, and by the end of the issue consider the most killer facts. Let's hit the road.

LEGEND

In the official version, Alexandre Dumas was born and raised in a workhouse for the poor and crippled residents of the outskirts of Paris. To confirm or deny the birth of Dumas in this commune simply no one.

His father, a former General of Napoleon's army, severely crippled and ill, completely deaf and blind in one eye, lived a complete hermit, did not communicate with anyone and died in 1806, when Alexander was only 4 years old. Nothing is known about Dumas's mother.

A perfect biography that can't be verified. All other information about the childhood of Dumas senior we know only from the memoirs of the writer.

In the mid-20s of the XIX century in Paris there is a nice young man with light Negroid features named Alexander. He declares himself the son of the retired General who died many years ago.

Those who knew the late General remembered that there was once talk that he supposedly had a black son, and in the ancestors of the General were Africans.

It would seem that this proves nothing. After all, Alexander Dumas during the life of Pushkin became a famous writer. In 1825, the first small collection of Dumas ' short stories "Modern novels" was born, then in 1829 - the historical drama "Henry III and his court", in 1832-the popular melodrama "the Polish tower".

But the author in these years alive no one saw. In the editorial office brought articles and novels, and in theaters – plays, not Dumas himself personally, but his friend and comrade, the famous playwright and theater Director Adolphe De Leuven. It was this mediator who first discovered and introduced France to the work of Alexandre Dumas the elder. In fact, Dumas is another pseudonym of Pushkin.

Even in his youth in 1814 in the "Bulletin of Europe" Pushkin puts 4 works, all of them are signed with only one letter P. in the 30s Pushkin was printed under the pseudonyms Alexander P, Davydov, Ivan Petrovich, Ivan Ivanov, Publisher. Also, the poet liked to sign the word Frenchman and a dozen different pseudonyms. Pushkin's native language was rather French, and he learned Russian much later through the efforts of his grandmother and nanny.

But a comparison of specimens of handwriting of Pushkin and Dumas.

It would seem that the usual handwriting examination will put everything in its place. But the authenticity of these records is debatable, because according to the official history of the surviving manuscripts Dumas made a scribe. And this applies to the period when he was a poor novice writer, who did not yet have assistants and "forced to save on everything."

FLIGHT

Dumas first officially appears in Paris in 1822.

From 1920 to 1924 Pushkin was in the so-called southern exile-first in the Caucasus and Crimea, then in Chisinau and Odessa. In the spring of 1820 Pushkin was condemned to exile in Siberia or to imprisonment in the Solovetsky monastery for the content of his poems and caustic epigrams against the Archimandrite and Tsar Alexander I. Only thanks to the efforts of friends, especially Karamzin, it was possible to achieve mitigation of punishment before exile to The Kishinev Chancellery for paper work, with the condition not to return to the capital and a ban on the publication of his works.

According to the materials of that time Pushkin is practically absent in Chisinau, and disappears for six months or more in unknown places. There are mentions that during the Kishinev exile he was seen in Kiev and Odessa. In these trips Pushkin gets close to members of the Secret society, future Decembrists and enters the Masonic Lodge. Having heard from the participants of the secret society about the beautiful and free life abroad, the young poet is already openly talking about the possibility of leaving for France, where his creative talent will be recognized. During the period of exile of the poet 1822-1823 years generally covered with darkness. Pushkin seems to have disappeared, almost nothing is known about him during this period. But at this time in France there is a young Dumas with a dull biography, but with great literary talent.

It is unlikely, of course, Pushkin was allowed to stay in France for a year, he was still under the tacit supervision of gendarmes, and his every step was under the control of the police. But who then could at this time impersonate the young Dumas in Paris, playing a talented poet-writer?
