After a great sail from the reef we arrive at Hinchinbrook Island to enjoy a few days of settled weather. What better chance than to head to the island for a survival mission! Can we forage for food? Can we build a shelter? Do we head back to the boat or rough it on the beach with crocodiles....... You can guess which option we take! But the opportunity for the boys to climb a coconut tree, learn how to twist it off, cut it open for a drink, shuck a dry coconut for the firm flesh and build a sturdy shelter. Pretty confident the kids could survive a night on an island with just a machete! Watch to the end where we have a bit of family fun!
