Big Macca no.169M first ever start since ive owned it . Running backwards because it can run either way . Sounds realy quiet mechanically but its not quiet . Made in Richmond in Melbourne Australia 1939. I’ve had it stripped right down except I left the crank and flywheel in place. Had a very rusty bore but it honed up OK. Miraculously I found new piston and little end bushes and a new gudgeon pin. Rings were perfect and I suspect the big end bearing was already newish.
