In the first episode of Season 16, Anja discovers the large population of red deer in Killarney National Park has increased to an alarming size. This along with high numbers of Sika deer, an invasive species, are having negative impacts on the precious woods. Anja meets with Tim Burkitt of National Parks and Wildlife Service to discuss these impacts and what interventions have been made to lessen their impacts.
