My speedy TrueNAS scale server metadata special devices have been awesome...maybe too awesome. The 32 bay Flash Beast T620 that provides insane storage server speeds has a power issue. This is complicated by the fact that I have 24 SSDs doing Special VDEV duty to make my Petabyte storage server wicked fast. I get really hands on fixing in this video that I drop a lot of tips and tricks in if you face a similar issue. Before you do a storage server setup, you need a rock solid plan.
