This is a video talking about how I’m using a Trimble r780 and t10 tablet rover with siteworks to layout our landscape and hardscape plans in the field.
I use Dynascape to draw my landscape plans. Then export .dwg, after that I use Trimble business center to create control points. The control points are used to orient and scale the drawing. Once the points are created I export to siteworks, calibrate the site using the control points and then can use the gps rover to preform the stakeout or layout as needed.

This setup is perfect for small residential landscape project and very large excavation project. It’s very quick and easy to setup once you know what you’re doing.
