Saxophone campers spent three half-days working together with Lamont Allen, our resident saxophone expert, Angelo State University professor Dr. Tim Bonnenfant, and Irion County Schools Band Director Brian Tillman. Students were introduced to a variety of genres for saxophone ensembles, they dabbled in classical pieces and even tried their hand at improvisation during their jazz numbers. The camp culminated on the last day with a swinging recital which we have posted here for your listening enjoyment.
