During summer 2023, I went to check out some obscure lines in Eldo with two of my friends. I got psyched on Easter Island, an old aid line that goes through some really interesting geometry. While Sam and I worked on figuring out a way to free, the wild overhanging flaring slot, Beckett noticed the bulge to the right and started working on a hard new line. Together, we had a blast working our projects. Sam, Beckett, and I learned to climb here, so getting to work as a team on these routes and contribute to eldo climbing was a special moment for us and one of the highlights of my year. Looking forward to more adventures with these guys!
