EDF is a long-running franchise that's all about over-the-top alien destruction action. Third-person shooting in its purest form, you'll choose a class, equip ridiculous weapons, and face off against 80,000 ants. This entry has the largest variety of weapons, enemies, and missions of the entire series, it's a huge game with countless hours of silly fun for those who enjoy it. This time, there's even a more significant story element that helps add some interesting structure to the missions. Overall, it's a fantastic entry that evolves the gameplay exactly how I'd want it to, even if it looks quite similar to EDF 5 at a glance.
