Jack Hildebrandt, WWII Luftwaffe pilot, American
Jack was a Luftwaffe bomber and fighter pilot. He enlisted & trained in the German Air Force, and flew many missions. Jack lost a total of six German aircraft, making him an 'American Ace'. Knowing Jack gave us a unique and different perspective of the war. Jack talked frequently about his first-hand the effects of the allied bombing on Germany.
