Previously to this standalone France, played by a player, gained Burgundy and Milan under personal union; however could not show up to this multiplayer session. So instead of waiting for a full session doing nothing, Milan and Burgundy fight an independence war with the help of Spain and Austria. Partially due to skill issue and partially due to French strength, this would be a harder war to fight than imagined.
