Loredana was very emotional during the performance as she sang her late sister's hit song, dedicating it to her. Mia Martini (Mimi) was, and remains, one of Italy’s most legendary and enigmatic stars. But despite her success, Mimi was regarded with suspicion by other artists, and was rumoured to have been ostracized by many in the music industry for supposedly attracting bad luck. The singer passed away at the young age of 47, and the Sanremo Music Festival's Critics Award (which she herself won three times) was posthumously named after her, the 'Premio della Critica Mia Martini'.

This video is supposed to promote Elisa's work among her non-Italian speaking audience.
