Three notes:

—You'll see me use a ruler to mark 1/2 and 1/3 points on boards throughout the video. This is a Jimmy DiResta trick. For example, let's say you need to divide a 5 1/4" board in half. Instead of pulling out a calculator, you can just slant your ruler to 6" and put a mark at the 3" point. That's halfway across the board. It's kind of tough to explain. —Later, I use copper wire as a make shift cotter pin. This works, but this soft metal will eventually shear. A steel nail would last longer.

—You can't really see it, but I always wore my face shield (WITH safety glasses) while grinding or cutting. It's too easy to get flying crap in your eyes otherwise.
