The Camry enters its ninth generation with the 2025 model year, complete with a styling overhaul, a redesigned cabin, and a revised set of exclusively hybrid powertrains.

The revised Camry line-up will consist of the Ascent, Ascent Sport and flagship SL when it arrives in Australia – with the mid-range SX grade discontinued.

The new Camry measures 4,920 mm in length, 1,840 mm in width, and 1,455 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2,825 mm. This marks an overall increase of 35 mm in length, and its luggage capacity has grown by seven litres, now totaling 500 litres.

The front bumper has also been reshaped, now featuring wider air inlets. The side profile showcases a sleek roofline, a sculpted body, and 19-inch multi-spoke alloy wheels finished in black and smoke grey.

At the rear, the new-generation Camry features updated wraparound LED taillights, a rear lip spoiler, and a redesigned diffuser with dual-tip exhausts that enhance the car's sporty appeal. Additional exterior highlights include a shark-fin antenna, chrome 'CAMRY' lettering on the boot lid, and a new clamshell bonnet.

The interior of the 2025 Toyota Camry features the most significant updates, including a fully redesigned dashboard and center console. Base models come equipped with a standard seven-inch digital gauge cluster, while the top variant boasts a larger 12.3-inch display. The infotainment system includes an eight-inch touchscreen as standard, with a 12.3-inch option available. Standard features also include wireless Apple CarPlay, wireless Android Auto, and wireless phone charging.

Additionally, a range of options is available, such as a 10-inch head-up display, a JBL sound system, in-car WiFi, and a digital key feature that allows you to unlock and start the vehicle using your smartphone.



The Australian-market Camry features a fifth-generation Hybrid Electric powertrain that delivers 231 PS. This system includes a 2.5-litre Atkinson-cycle petrol engine producing 188 PS and 221 Nm of torque, paired with a 136 PS permanent magnet synchronous motor generating 208 Nm. Power is transmitted to the front axle through a continuously variable transmission.

Three driving modes are available – Normal, Eco and Sport, while an EV mode offers low-speed electric vehicle driving over “short distances”

In Australia, the pricing for the 2025 Toyota Camry begins at $39,990 for the Ascent, $42,990 for the Ascent Sport, and $53,990 for the flagship SL variant.
