11th July 2024. Starting in Leighterton we first stop at the cemetery, to visit the graves of Australian airmen from the 1st World War. It was then out across the fields along the Monarch’s Way towards the northern end of Westonbirt Arboretum. We turned south down through the Arboretum then west along the southern edge. After a long straight walk along a bridleway we reach the edge of Didmarton. We walked along a lane for a short way before turning off towards St Arild Church at Oldbury on the Hill. After a short break here we carried on heading through the stud farm to the north, before reaching the lane a short distance from Leighterton.
