بدأ خالد محمد علي بالعزف على الكمان في عمر التاسعة، ثم أتقن عزف العود والفيولا، وحصل بعد الثانوية على دبلوم معهد المهن الطبّية في بغداد، العراق، ولكنه قرر إكمال مساره المهني في الموسيقى، وأصبح عضوًا رئيسيًا في فرقة الفنان كاظم الساهر الرسمية.

Khalid Mohammad Ali began playing the Violin at the age of nine, then mastered playing the Oud and Viola. He obtained a diploma from the Health Professions Institute in Baghdad, Iraq, after high school, but decided to continue his professional path in music, and became a main member of the official band for artist Kadim Al Sahir.
