Captain Cody explains how to throw any size cast net. There are a large variety of methods to throw a cast net from the triple load method, the Percy methods and many ways to throw small cast nets. This method works for all size cast nets, 4 foot, 6 foot, 8 foot, 10 foot, and in the video, a 12-foot net is being thrown. The method does allow for 100 percent of the net to open but on average the net opens about 80 percent. Other methods might open then net more but are not as fast, clean, or as easy to throw. Using this method throwing a net goes from being a pain to being a fun enjoyable activity.
