Today it's time to give some attention to my slipper orchid, the Phragmipedium popowii!

I have decided to change the setup for all my slipper orchids, as most of them are actually terrestrial. I am going for an organic, bark and coconut coir mix for now, along with a self watering pot.

Slipper orchids are sympodial, the older fans will dry off in a few years. They will provide energy for the new fans to develop.
