Writing is a required skill that we don't talk enough about. People interested in a National Security Career with CSIS or an ambition to be a professional security analyst need to be excellent writers. You can collect great information but if you cannot accurately translate and support that info in a report, memo or brief into actionable and defendable intelligence - it is useless.
