We recently visited Puerto Vallarta. It was our first visit to Mexico, so we were not sure what to expect. We did some preparation, as we usually do, but we really did not have any specific plans in terms of filming. We decided to go with the flow.

We stayed in Zona Hotelera, which gave us easy access to major attractions of Puerto Vallarta and surrounding towns, such as Bucerias, Mismaloya and Yelapa.

To be honest, it took us a few days to get used to this place, but then we fell in love with it.

Puerto Vallarta is a tropical, colonial town, where you can feel time moving at slower pace. Always hot and sunny (although we experienced some hazy skies), making you really want to spend your days on the beach or by the pool. Trust us, there is nothing better to do than sipping a margherita, while listening to the waves crashing on the shore.
