The first Cheese and Veggie Omelet review was split into two parts.
Part 1:    • MRE Review: Cheese and Veggie Omelet ...
Part 2:    • MRE Review: Cheese And Veggie Omelet ...

Okay, here we go again. The Cheese and Veggie Omelet probably tops my list of least favorite MREs, but I just had to journey to that dark place one more time. I had heard somewhere that someone still manufactured the dreaded entree that was discontinued from genuine MREs in 2009. I figured that maybe they weren't as bad as their legend suggests. Perhaps if I could get my hands on a new one it might be a lit tastier than the 10-year-old one I reviewed earlier. Well I found one on eBay, and it turns out that the MRE the seller listed as "brand new" was actually from 2006! Even though it was only one year more recent than the other one I reviewed I figured that I should at least give it a try since I spent money on it. To try to make things more interesting I also vowed to eat the ENTIRE Omelet, regardless of how gross it might be. Did I succeed? Watch to find out! I do have to apologize for the fact that there's a lot more chewing and eating sounds in this one than in most regular reviews. I usually try to keep the noises to a minimum and edit out as much as possible, but since I was trying to eat the whole thing a lot more got left in the final cut than usual.
Also, the fact that I was led to believe that a nine-year-old MRE was "brand new" I just had to go into further explanation about how you really need to be careful when purchasing MREs on eBay and other online sources. It also gave me a chance to cover the topic of off-brand (no name, store brand, cheap-o) MREs that sometimes get passed off as "real" MREs. This was one of those. Because of those additional topics this video ended up being a lot longer than I wanted it to be. If you want to skip ahead to the actual review please go to around the six-minute mark.
