On this video, you will see how to make a no-smell or odorless pig pen in your backyard, by using rice hull instead of concrete flooring.

LOCATION: Alamada, Cotabato, Mindanao, Philippines

MATERIALS:
150 pieces hollow blocks (concrete blocks)
3 cubic meters sand
10 bags cement
3 packs water proofing compound (Sahara)
10 pieces 8mm steel bars
1kg wire (for steel bars)
12 pieces 2"x3"x10' lumber
10 pieces 2"x4"x10' lumber
12 pieces 2"x2"x10' lumber
5kg No.3 nails
150 pieces 1 meter long whole bamboo (preferably Bayog/Luzonensis variety)
20 sacks rice hull
old tarpaulins and coconut palms for roofing

We have 13 heads of fattening pigs in this pen and we used 20 sacks of rice hull in the beginning; we will just refill it when needed.
