We call those little perch "Wasps" here in the UK, and that's the fish this fly imitates. It's a simple and quick bucktail and nayat (snow runner) Deceiver pattern which is very effective. Great for both pike and zander, as it's not too big and very light weight to cast.

Material List:
Hook: Sakuma Manta 545 4/0 or down size to an Ahrex TP610 2/0
Thread Veevus PB2 140 or use GSP 100D
Bucktail: Yellow
Nayat: Skeena River Fly Supply Olive, Black, Yellow and Orange
Flash: Hedron Magnum Holo and standard Flashabou in Firetiger and dark green. Deer Creek Gliss N Glint in yellow, Hareline Dubbing Ripple Ice in orange
Optics: Deer Creek Gator Eyez in Roachie (Green)
