In this video I am going to show you how to produce a Kygo Style Drop from scratch in only 2 hours. We are going to use FL Studio 21 as our main DAW as well as VST Instruments like Nexus, Sylenth1 & Kontakt for Bass, Pianos, Leads & Guitars. Specifically we are going to make a Half-Time Drop similar to First Time with Ellie Goulding, Let Somebody Go (Kygo Remix) or Lose Somebody with One Republic. This type of Drops usually use huge snares and have a big focus on the overall groove.
