And just like that we're into double figures. This week going back into the depths, slowed down the bpm's to a chugging, hypnotic 124 and this mix is full of a much deeper, beautiful sound than the slammers of last week. Unlike my usual 3 deck smash it all together style with this mix I was going for a trippy, relentless, hypnotic vibe so there's very little dj'ing, just trying to blend the tracks really smoothly and get out of the way of what these talented producers are doing.

Tracklist:

1. Gabriel Rei - All And This

Stunning deep house with great pads and some lovely "real" drums and a great squelching bass that keeps things moving along nicely.

2. Game Plan - Club Negotiations

Lovely twirling synths matched to a really simple bassline make this a proper vortex of a slow deep house track.

3. Christopher Ledger - Initialisation

One of those tracks that just sounds massive. I don't know what studio trickery goes into it but this one just seems to fill the speakers and gives the sub a proper workout.

4. Secret Witness - Have You Ever (Club Mix)

Deep.

5. Gene Tellem - N'you

I just discovered this producer and all her stuff is pure fire. This one with the ace vocal sample that just gives it that moodier edge and then a full on wall of sound trippy synth action. Love it.

6. Gene Tellem - Chipped

See above,

7. Audio Soul Project - Damelo Dub

Those that have been around the block a bit will remember this guy from the undergound anthem "Back to Joy" that he produced in the early 00's, He's been releasing a long series of dubs on his bandcamp, most of them fantastic.

8. Mr G - Toi Toi

The don back at it. Still keeping up with my rule of not making a mix without a Mr G tune in it.

9. Kolter - Washed Away

I've been rinsing this lad's stuff, most of his productions are either ace or daft, this one does something a bit different and goes a bit deeper. A nice driving bassline helps keep things moving along here.

10. Mr G - Let Down

More brilliant vocal snippets and massive synths from G

11. Hiraku Nagasawa

Found this tune on a Brawther comp and it's amazing. Quality synths just take you to another dimension.

12. Gene Tellem - Tender as a Rhodes

She's the business.

13. Hiroshi Morohashi - Two

A deeper dig - check this guy out, insane stuff.

14. Matt Spiaggi - Are you ready (Tomas Pizzelli Remix)

Continuing my fondness for ending deep house mixes with a breaks track, and this one's a doozy.

Let me know what you think!

Sorry about the terrible video quality at the end, my camera had some sort of failure.
