There’s a handful of tool changes happening for this job, with the order of each cut being important to ensure the cleanest possible cuts and most efficient use of tools. Since each backgammon set requires a pair of these boards, the tool changes add up quickly when we’re doing batch production. Thankfully the auto tool changer makes the process much less tedious and even more enjoyable. It really does let me do other things while it’s doing the hard work, like being a human dust collector while producing this video!
