I demonstrate the problems in my wheelchair planning, booking and carrying out a journey on Northern. Travelling from Leeds to Hebden Bridge return, I demonstrate being booked to a station that doesn't have step free access, the train disabled toilet being out of order, being forgotten about so nobody brings a ramp, the taxi not turning up / being late / getting lost / not fitting a seat belt / not being tall enough / leaking, the station from which I was to get assistance being unstaffed and in total darkness, and train information systems being out of order.
Such is travelling as a wheelchair user on Northern's services.
