#75 I always enjoyed watching Bob Ross on PBS, and at over 50 years old I felt compelled to start painting. After all, he makes it look so easy. How hard could it be??? I tried and my first was just "meh, ok". After a bit I tried again, then again, and again. I was resolved to try and get good at this, It became my new winter pastime. Two years later and I'm not sure I'd classify as good yet but people I know say the paintings are good so I suppose that counts (I think I'm my own biggest critic). I have sold several commissions (those always stress me out) but in the end the purchaser has been happy with the work and that is almost more gratifying than the payment some times!
