In this video, I share 5 tips to instantly improve and master your violin spiccato. I go step by step in how I teach my students spiccato and how you can easily achieve a nice sounding spiccato.

I consider spiccato in the same family as sautílle but with a few minor differences. Sautílle is a fast stroke that sounds off the string. However, spiccato requires more control in the motion of the bow which I cover in this video.
