Marshall Canyon Trail is a 11 miles heavily trafficked loop trail located near Claremont, California that features a river and is rated as moderate. The trail offers a number of activity options and is accessible year-round. Dogs are also able to use this trail but must be kept on leash.

Solid trail for a nice and relaxed riding with a gradual incline. It’s long but not as strenuous as going up in the mountains. You can park at Oak Mesa Elementary School and walk through a neighborhood to get to the trail. I like that most of it is very wooded and offers a lot of shade unlike most trails in the area.

Need to Know:
It is legal to ride Marshall Canyon at night, so bring your lights and have a blast! However, don't stray onto the other side of the hill in Claremont, they'll write you a ticket.

Marshall Canyon has something for everybody, whether you're a beginner or an experienced rider looking for some fast downhills through the bottom layer forest.

The terrain in Marshall Canyon is great for it's NorCal feel. All around, the hills are hot and dry, but at Marshall the trees keep it shaded and the creek crossings help to keep things cooler.
