This video is a sculpture in motion. It represents the beginning of my artlife. I really enjoyed making this sculpture. The dragonfly is made of metals. There are no bolts or clamps. It is just wrapped in wire. The base is a steel garbage can. The flower is the lid of the can spray painted. It looks like a tye dye! A happy accident! The awesome dragonfly is mounted in the dirt. Using four ten-foot rebar through the wings. She measures a ten-foot wingspan and is nine and a half feet long. The graffiti board is four feet by eight feet pressure treated plywood. Latex, acrylic and spray paint.
