Air traffic controller is a job many people know about, but few understand. What do they do? How do I get hired? Is it stressful? What are the qualifications? In this video, I break down some basics about the job, how to apply, and how it works. Over the years, I have gotten literally thousands of questions pertaining to the position of ATC and others like it in the aviation industry, and in this short video, I hope to summarize some of the very basics involved with understanding how the whole thing works. About Me:
My name is David Lombardo, perhaps best known as the former face of ATC Memes. I have a deep passion for aviation, music/audio, video, building relationships, learning, and encouraging people to share their own unique stories! I attended Purdue University and majored in

aviation management, and later found myself working at the New York Center air traffic facility.
