Removing a Tesla Spoiler for dummies (like me)~
I recently decided to swap out the existing carbon spoiler that’s mounted on my Y with another brand.

To do that, i had to first take off my existing one (which I actually swapped to real automotive tapes - so I know it’s stuck on well!), prep and clean up, before I can apply the next.

To some, this dismantling step can feel like a daunting task, but really to remove a #Tesla spoiler, OEM/ Aftermarket, both are as easy as Do Re Me.

Hope this short reel will help give some pointers to how you can get your one done too!

Simple 4 steps - and these steps work on any other cars that only uses adhesives as well.
1) heat / warm up the adhesives
2) gently wiggle and pull the spoiler
3) use nylon / dental floss to cut through adhesives
4) wipe off residue adhesives with rubbing alcohol or tar remover

That’s it! As simple as that!
Hope it was helpful!
