What he's been able to achieve goes beyond medical reasoning, goes beyond all the research, goes beyond anything that we've ever seen before.
The doctors still don't understand how he was able to do it. The only thing that we know is: "Whatever the mind can conceive and believe, the body can achieve."
JASON CARTY, was diagnosed with lung cancer and had an operation to remove his lung on the 8th of July, 2016. He then started his rehab on the bike and walking three days after that.
On September the 8th 2016 he started chemotherapy and that didn't finish till late January 2017.
Yet he trained all the way through the treatment; and started training full-time on the 16th of September 2016 for the World Masters Indoor Championships in South Korea
This is the story of an ordinary man who fought back to achieve an extraordinary feat IN BEATING CANCER.
JASON CARTY is European Champion and British record holder for men over the age 45 with a PB of 7.14sec for 60 meters
On the 16th of March 2017, only 2 months after finishing chemotherapy he flies out & starts competing in the mens 60 meters for the over 45s to gain his first world title in that age group.
