Welcome to a return to figure subjects with a series on the excellent Nuts Planet 1/10th scale resin bust of Damian Lewis as paratrooper Maj. Richard Winters in the HBO TV series Band of Brothers. The release is reference NP-B007 and is titled US 101st Airborne.

This is an amazing casting and over 2 or 3 short episodes, I plan to show how I built, painted and then improved the finish on this fantastic release.

I used Lifecolor acrylic paints supplied by http://www.airbrushes.com and you can get all the Lifecolor range from their website or via The Airbrush Company in the UK. Thanks to them for working with Scale War Machines for many years. In fact, the bust was supplied by http://www.historexagents.com, another friend of the channel, for review in 2015 and construction/painting began way back in 2016 - I only just got around to editing this now! The plan is to go through all figure/bust builds in chronological order where and when that is possible.

In this episode which is aimed at beginners, I cover construction, priming and painting the eyes, flesh skin tones and hair. Check out the chapter markers if you want to skip straight to painting.

In the video, I mention the following films:
   • NUTS PLANET RESIN SCALE MODEL FIGURES
   • DELUXE SUPERGLUES FOR SCALE MODELS
   • IWATA REVOLUTION HP-TR2 - THE AIRBRUS...
