Based loosely on the war between the Mataram Kingdom
under Prince Panembahan Senapati against the Madiun Kingdom under Princess Retno Dumilah. In the fierce battle, Panembahan Senopati was amazed by the beauty of Retno Dumilah. Like all great tales, the duo fell in love. The battle ended peacefully and they united the two kingdom with their marriage.
