How to reach Tiruchirapalli Rockfort Uchi Pillayar Temple from Tiruchirapalli Railway station by bus shared in this video.

Rockfort Uchi Pillayar Temple is one of the most visited places in Tiruchirapalli. It is located around 5 km distance from Tiruchirapalli railway station.

Once u exit from Tiruchirapalli railway station main entrance ( adjacent to platform 1 ) walk towards main road. Just cross that main road and catch Srirangam bound local town bus and ask for Uchi Pillayar Temple stop or St Joseph College bus stop to the conductor. Ticket fare Rs 7.

It will take just around 15 minutes travel time to reach Uchi Pillayar Temple bus stop. Once u alight at St Joseph College bus stop, just cross the road and walk for around 500 metres to reach Uchi Pillayar Temple entrance. Landmark is adjacent to Saratha's Textile shop.

Uchi Pillayar Temple located at top of small hill called Rockfort.U have to climb around 417 steps to reach the top. It will take arround 20 minutes to reach top of the hill.
