Today, we are in Kobe, Japan to see Kobe Chinatown Nankin-machi and Motomachidori Shopping Street. Chinatown Nankin-machi is one of Japan's Largest Chinatowns. Many types of different Chinese food, Chinese Street foods and more. Kobe Japan is famous for it's Kobe beef and the scenic views of the city. There is many Things to do in Kobe. Kobe is a Massive city with more then 1.5 million people in the city. I would like to show you how it is traveling to Kobe Japan as a Solo traveler. Kobe is a city on Osaka Bay in central Japan. It is known for its signature marbled beef and scenic setting of mountains framing the harbor. The Ikuta Shrine, dating to the 3rd century, is among Japan's oldest Shinto shrines. Antique cable cars connect Kobe to Mt. Rokko, which offers panoramic views over the port. Beyond the Mount Rokko hills are the outdoor hot springs of Arima Onsen.

Kobe Chinatown Nankin-machi

Nankin-machi is a neighborhood in Kobe, Japan located south of Motomachi station adjacent to the Daimaru Department Store and is a major tourist attraction. Considered as Kobe's Chinatown, the area has over a hundred Chinese restaurants, shops, and a Chinese temple dedicated to Lord Guan.

Motomachidori
Vibrant Motomachi centers on its namesake shopping street, lined with upscale department stores and Japanese fashion boutiques. Dining options range from French-style bistros and patisseries to casual ramen shops and yakiniku BBQ joints. Motomachi Park has shady paths around former merchants’ mansions like Berrick Hall and the Ehrismann Residence, both now museums with pre-WWII designs and furnishings.
