This was unexpectedly one of my favorite tracks to work on for my album - and ended up being the title track since it perfectly encompassed the vibe I was going for with it! I drew some inspiration from Remake's version of this track, but was always disappointed that they cut my favorite part of the track (the last little bit before the loop) - so I really wanted to lean into that part even more than the original, bringing out the low end to add to the feeling of yearning and a mystical starry night. I know this track wasn't the one for the water tower scene in OG7, but ever since Remake I've really associated it with that so I decided to take the inspo for the video there as well (doing my best to cosplay as a very young Tifa LOL) Tbh when I worked on the arrangement I totally imagined that last last bit before the outro to be Cloud and Tifa dancing together under the stars, I know that's not how it happened but it's my new headcanon 🤣 Anyway I hope you enjoy it!
