This Lobito corridor will help Washington exploit the mineral wealth in Zambia and the Democratic Republic of Congo. Meanwhile, the US also won a contract in Ghana. An American firm will set up a small nuclear plant in Ghana. The US company has beaten Russia to secure the Ghana nuclear contract. The US is expanding its influence in Africa.
