If your car's hood (bonnet) doesn't open after pulling up the hood release lever, then watch this 1 minute video to learn how to fix it!

SOLUTION
Get an umbrella or piece of wood or a stick. Put it under the hood release lever so that the lever stays in the full open position. Or you could ask someone else to keep the hood release lever in the open position while you'd try to open the hood by putting your fingers underneath the hood. And this should help you to open your stuck hood (bonnet).

There can a few reasons why your hood is stuck. For my car, the spring that is connected to the hood latch has snapped & requires changing.

TIP: If your car's spring is intact, then apply some oil or grease the 2 springs & whole mechanism to lubricate it so that it'll open easier.
