Sapa is a popular mountainous town in north-western Vietnam with lots to see and do. We made 3 vlogs from Sapa to share what some of the top things to do are and some things to know before going.

Going up Fansipan is definitely one of the top must-do things in Sapa but it's quite a luck of the draw what weather you'll get at the the top. Dress warmly and bring a rain jacket in anticipation for any kind of weather. Even if it's sunny in the town, the peak may be a whole different scenario!

Unfortunately on our visit we encountered a fog that just wouldn't lift even after hours of waiting so just bear in mind that it's a possibility you may not get to see or do all that much after the cable car ride up, but if you get great weather it's meant to be incredibly beautiful and scenic. We got our tickets from Klook. You simply scan your QR code at the various entry points going up and back down.

Our lunch spot was in Sapa town, and a short walk to the foot of Ham Rong Mountain.

The foot of Ham Rong Mountain is also another short walk from behind Sapa church in the town centre. The area once you enter is not super well signposted, so having a map from the ticket office helps with navigating.
