In this episode, we sit down with veteran Michael Young to celebrate the incredible journey of military service members transitioning into civilian careers.

Originally from Leicestershire, Michael served as a Royal Signals Communications Systems Engineer in Germany and then subsequently in the Falklands and across Europe in NATO support roles. After a final deployment to Estonia, where he managed the communications team supporting the ongoing operation there, he left the Army and moved to a Network Support Team Lead role in the civilian market in 2020. After this role, he joined Lloyds Banking Group as a Firewall Engineering Team Manager, working with a team of engineers to ensure the Bank's application traffic is always supported 24/7.

Join us as we explore how bridging the gap between military service and corporate careers not only benefits individuals but also enriches organisations, fostering a culture of diversity, inclusion, and innovation.
