Colybrassus little known archaeological site. Some structures are very similar like in Quenco (Qenko) in Peru. Colybrassus is located within the borders of Bayırkozağacı Village in Alanya Güzelbağ Town, approximately 30 kilometers northeast of Alanya, Türkiye.
The settlement bears traces of the Hellenistic Period, there are written sources showing that life in the city continued until the Middle Ages.
The city remains include the walls of a temple of Hercules (HERACLES) and the 20-foot walls of another unidentified temple, also parts of the city wall with steps leading up to its gate. There are many open sarcophagi and a rock tomb in the necropolis area to the southwest of the city. The façade of the rock tomb is monumental and can be reached by a staircase with 18 steps. The burial chamber consists of a single room and the top of the entrance is carved in the form of a low arch, the interior is decorated with the head of Medusa , and the two sides of the arch are adorned with eagle motifs.
