In this episode we make a Mercedes Sprinter van tour of a free spirit living van life Australia. Bob lives the van life Australia dream in his long wheel base Mercedes Sprinter that he converted himself.

This sprinter van is creatively finished with pallet and wooden cupboard doors, paper bark tree lined wall, corrugated iron interior (orb), and a pantry that’s a combo of an old tin Weetbix container, a wooden suitcase and old wine boxes.

The feature of this van is the bath, and Bob loves it! Having no trouble fitting in it, he’s had a few good bubble baths while watching the sunset (just like those Insta photos!). And Bob also thought about the heat when living van life in Australia and made sure the van has good insulation and air flow to keep cool.

With a shower, 85 litres of fresh water, a flush 12V toilet and a solid 12V electrical setup, this DIY Mercedes Sprinter van conversion has no troubles going off grid. Which is exactly what Bob wants as it gives him the freedom to think about life, celebrate life, work and give back to the community.
