What about the facts;
Imagine a district where, by decision of the Governorship, the entry of caravans is prohibited and they are not allowed to park in the parking lots. Be careful here, I'm not saying accommodation or camping. PARKING IS PROHIBITED.
Yes, you read it right: If you are going to the car parks in Amasra with your caravan licensed vehicle to visit the district, unfortunately you are not allowed into the car parks (there is no other car park anyway). Isn't that ridiculous?
Unfortunately, by signing such a ridiculous practice, Bartın Governorship has fallen into a situation where it cannot distinguish between wheat and chaff and does not know what accommodation and parking means. We are a couple who live in a caravan full time, traveling around our country since 2023 by doing a TURKISH COASTAL AND BORDER STRIP TOUR and staying in a fixed place for a maximum of 3 - 4 days (if the place and conditions are suitable).
This ugly action taken against caravans should end as soon as possible. A vehicle with a caravan name on its license is no different from a car, it does no harm to anyone in the PARKING action, and it does not obstruct traffic. As advocates of the ban on accommodation with caravans in cities where tourism is intense, we believe that there cannot be a more absurd decision than preventing PARKING as long as there is no overnight stay and the space is not occupied. We condemn the Bartın Municipality and the Governorship for making such a ridiculous decision, and we would like to reiterate that they should reverse this decision as soon as possible. In Amasra, which is a touristic area, staying with a caravan can be prohibited, but not allowing parking is ridiculous.
We, who have been traveling around Turkey's coastline and border for nearly 600 days, are encountering such an absurd practice for the first time. We are very angry about this practice that we were subjected to on a weekday that was not a holiday or public holiday. As local tourists, we are angry and angry about not being able to visit our country as a result of absurd practices that have no basis.
