A long-cherished dream. A kayaking weekend on Fehmarn.
Join Ralph and me on our sea kayak adventure on Fehmarn! In this video, I take you along on our second day on the island. I was out again with my kayak ‘Saoirse’ (a Rebel Jara LV).
We stayed comfortably at Strandcamping Wallnau – I in a tent, and Ralph in a mini camper. The evening before, we picked up new Greenland paddles from Jochen. These would accompany us on this tour. Today’s tour took us to the south of the island.
Surprise! Jochen arrived with his kayak right at the starting point and accompanied us for much of the tour. We paddled along the west coast, past the Flügge lighthouse and the Krummsteert peninsula, to the beach at Strukkamphuk within sight of the Fehmarnsund Bridge. After a cappuccino at the beach bar, we paddled back to the start. It was a bit choppier this time, as the wind picked up.

Once again, breathtaking nature, fresh sea air, and a bit more wind today. Join us and experience the adventures on the water with us!
