Pink Salt Lake Cappadocia - Lake Tuz

You no longer have to venture all the way to Bolivia to take Salt Flat pictures!
Now you can visit salt flats right on your European doorstep, in Turkey. AND they're pink! So much better.

Cappadocia is famous for its hot air balloon rides that flood the sky on a morning, cave hotels and underground cities. Yet, whenever people head to Cappadocia they all seem to miss one amazing attraction - The pink salt lake, Lake Tuz!

'Lake Tuz' actually translates to 'Salt Lake', and only a 1.5 hour drive from Cappadocia, it's definitely worth visiting.

The motorway can be a nightmare to turn off and get the right location, below is the coorindates for the best turning point onto the lake. You have to be on the opposite side of the road, which means driving up and back down, and very vigilent when looking for it.
