After reading the Referrals submitted to the Federal Government for both Lotus Creek and Clarke Creek, and seeing Boomer Range pop up as another prospective wind development site, we decided to visit these landscapes in Central Qld ourselves. Take a drive with us through the high elevation hinterland of Rockhampton to Mackay as we discuss wind development siting in Queensland, and wonder what will become of our threatened biodiversity if ecologically destructive developments continue to be approved.
