I've previously shared a couple of other videos dealing with popcorn ceilings but this is the first time I've shared how to smooth out popcorn ceilings by applying a skim coat instead of scraping the popcorn texture off. Acoustic ceilings are ugly and awful and there's not always an easy answer on what you should do to get rid of them!
If you have unpainted popcorn ceilings you can scrape the texture off first and then apply a skim coat to your unfinished drywall ceiling. If you're wanting to go that route, you can check out my tutorial here:    • How To Remove Popcorn Ceiling And Ski...
